O.K. I'm looking at this with my eyes wide open. I want to see the good in it. I guess it is nice that they have more fiber (although not a great amount), but all that sugar just can't be overlooked.

I can't see where a cereal like this could ever be labeled "healthy" or "good for you".

LOL - Fruit Loops is still 41% sugar - although there's now a "reduced sugar" version that's *only* 31% sugar. Progress! (j/k).

Actually, there are apples in Apple Jacks... here's the ingredients:

SUGAR, WHOLE GRAIN CORN FLOUR, WHEAT FLOUR, WHOLE GRAIN OAT FLOUR, OAT FIBER, SOLUBLE CORN FIBER, SALT, MILLED CORN, DRIED APPLES, APPLE JUICE CONCENTRATE, CORNSTARCH, CINNAMON, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, SODIUM ASCORBATE AND ASCORBIC ACID (VITAMIN C), MODIFIED CORN STARCH, YELLOW #6, NIACINAMIDE, REDUCED IRON, ZINC OXIDE, TURMERIC COLOR, BAKING SODA, PYRIDOXINE HYDROCHLORIDE (VITAMIN B6), BLUE #1, CALCIUM PHOSPHATE, RIBOFLAVIN (VITAMIN B2), THIAMIN HYDROCHLORIDE (VITAMIN B1), RED #40, VITAMIN A PALMITATE, BHT (PRESERVATIVE), FOLIC ACID, VITAMIN D, VITAMIN B12.

...but you notice, they come AFTER the fiber. Since there's only 3g of fiber from combined ingredients, I think it's safe to say that the apples are basically "label decoration."
