LOL - point taken.

I'm not striving for some PC, unisex world, of course...nor do I always find "wimmin's" mags (in general) to be objectionable. Lord knows even I've flipped through some on occasion in search of hair or make up tips (and as a fashion nightmare, I also need wardrobe tips for the times when the real world mandates I appear in something other than jeans and t-shirts). But Prevention often irritates the hell out of me, as it reinforces gender stereotypes w/respect to exercise. I'd have no quarrel with them if they presented their routines as beginner/intermediate level stuff, and provided their readers with better tools to explore their potentials, but they don't - what's there is presented as the be-all and end-all.

But this particular article was bad even by Prevention standards..."guy exercises for girls???" Give me a %$#&!!! break. Exercises are exercises.

No wonder Nick was steamed, what a ridiculous thing to say.

And Prevention?...

I wouldn't throw it in the trash. Here are some more eco-friendly suggestions...

1) Line the 10-week old puppy's pen with it.
2) Use it to prop the left corner of the bench press in the gym (dang... why isn't this floor level?).
3) Some freshly torn pages and some kindling will fire up the wood stove quickly. It's October, after all!
4) Emergency toilet paper; in case of a major snowfall this winter.
